• Need to add new functionality to existing billing environment while using a package based solution or new development that covers the new functionality

Upgrade

• Reaching a new version of existing package based solution to cover new requirements in order to stay on product roadmap. If there are major changes between versions, the ‘’upgrade transformation’’ becomes similar to ‘’replacement’’ in scope period of  the project

Replacement

• Replacing a legacy system or old package with new solution, covering current and future billing needs

Consolidation

• Consolidation of several different billing systems into one in order to reduce operational costs, as well as, to have the same platform for all customers in the consolidated platform
